The new 100-400 Vario-Elmar-SL f5-f6,3 offers the widest and longest zoom range in the SL-System and combines high-end technology with all the advantages of a compact and lightweight design. Made with AquaDura® weather sealing coating, this new 100-400 Vario-Elmar-SL f5-f6,3 also boasts an ARCA-SWISS compatible, detachable tripod base, making it perfectly suited for your nature, wildlife, sports and action photography. And, the built-in optical image stabilization ensures blur-free images while the fast autofocus focuses precisely on moving objects.
New Lightweight SL lenses!
Compact & lightweight without sacrificing performance, these new SL lenses weigh only 13-plus ounces - almost half the weight of their APO-Summicron-SL counterparts. As expected, they deliver the classic and famous Summicron look, incredible contrast, true colors, and a distinguished bokeh. These new Summicron-SL lenses focus extremely fast, smoothly, and accurately thanks to their linear direct drive, delivering excellent – and quiet – focus and optical performance.
